One of the founders, Rafael Nodal, attempted a music career in New York before entering the cigar industry, but failed to achieve success. He later met his current partner, Hank Bischoff, and in 1998, they launched a website to sell cigars. Different product lines under the brand are manufactured by different cigar factories. This Nicaraguan Master is produced in Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez, with the wrapper, binder, and filler all made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. Its 52 ring gauge ensures a rich flavor with every puff, transitioning from woody and dark chocolate notes to sweet caramel and almond flavors. The overall draw is smooth and burns evenly. It was even selected as one of the Top 25 Cigars of the Year by Cigar Aficionado with a high score of 96!
