Upmann’s history dates back to 1844, making it one of Cuba’s oldest cigar brands. It was founded by Herman Upmann, a German banker who settled in Havana, and he was the first non-Cuban to establish a factory in Cuba using his own name. Known for its mild to medium-bodied cigars, the brand is popular among cigar smokers, and all its cigars are made with premium tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region.
