The new packaging aimed to enhance the brand image, making Biarda appear more elegant and modern. The change in brand image wasn’t limited to the packaging image but also included the quantity. Boxes are now available in 25, 12, 5, and 3 cigars per box. This move was designed to meet diverse market demands. This newly added regular-sized cigar uses the new Biarda packaging and is available in 12-packs and 3-packs.

"Libertador" is the name of the cigar band and is the nickname of President Simon Bolivar. The Polyva Libertador was first released in 2006 as a limited edition for the French region, and was reissued in 2013 as an LCDH version. While the appearance remains largely unchanged, it uses a completely new blend of cigar leaves, resulting in a different flavor profile. Initially, the smoke is smooth, with a rich earthy flavor and subtle notes of wood, leather, and white pepper. In the mid-palate, the woody, leather, and white pepper notes gradually intensify, along with a hint of cocoa. In the finish, the earthy flavor remains, followed by notes of leather, cedar, and roasted nuts. The smoke is moderate, burns easily, and maintains Polyva's characteristic richness, but as a new cigar, it still needs time to mature.
