Aganosa tobacco is renowned in the industry for its quality and similarity to Cuba's iconic flavor and aroma. Headquartered in Nicaragua, Aganosa Tobacco Company was a project initiated in 1998 by Eduardo Fernández and his son, Marcos. At that time, Eduardo traveled to Cuba and assembled a team of former agronomists from the Cuban tobacco company with the aim of replicating the characteristics of Cuban cigars, creating the distinctive tobacco leaf now known as Aganosa tobacco.

He later met his current partner, Hank Bischoff, and in 1998 launched a website to sell cigars. Different product lines under the brand are manufactured by different cigar factories. This Nicaraguan Chance is produced in Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez, with the wrapper, binder, and filler all made from Nicaraguan tobacco. Its 50 ring gauge ensures a rich flavor with every puff, transitioning from woody and dark chocolate notes to sweet caramel and almond flavors. The overall draw is smooth and evenly burned, and it even received a high score of 92 from Cigar Aficionado.
